Julian Faulhaber

Photos from his series “LDPE”

“At the center of the photo series LDPE by Julian Faulhaber are architectural spaces and everyday objects that are used as mass media reproductions.Man enters the shots not in appearance, one sees still lifes and surfaces without blemish and consistency.

In the unreal reality of the photographs of the title refers LDPE, who comes from chemistry. Low Density Polyethylene is a thermoplastic material that can protect the surfaces and are known, for example, of packaging for foodstuffs, such as milk cartons. In Faulhaber figuratively surrounds the real world a shell of branched molecular chains.”
